I'm currently sitting here in a semi-zombified state - it's 2:30 in the morning and I've been working on the first part of my thesis all day. I'm not going to link to it while it's *still* not working properly, mind. But at least I have my two methods for social priming figured out, ready to present my concept to my prof, Marco, tomorrow.

I find that I'm actually quite excited about this thesis of mine. It feels more like "science" than all the topics I was rolling over and over in my head for a year before settling on sex differences and social priming in spatial cognition. Rather predictably, I found myself all but unable to think of proper gender stereotypes in order to create the priming tasks. I'm telling myself it's for a worthy cause, but they still feel like a weird flashback from the 1950's that doesn't really have a place in the world I inhabit - or so I like to think.

Anyway - I'm not going to start waxing philosophical about my thesis at this time of night. Tomorrow promises to be one long, busy day between meeting Marco, working and helping evaluate data from another experiment I've been working on this semester. I'll be back tomorrow night, hopefully with a more presentable blog template.
